We asked our staff to tell us something they felt proud of achieving at Prochoice. Here's what they said:

Dental

“A client called us one hour before their surgery opened requiring two dental nurses immediately to cover sickness. Within minutes we had arranged cover and both nurses arrived in time, ready for the first patient.”

“A member of staff was due to go on maternity leave at a client’s practice for an unknown duration. We quickly arranged for a dental nurse to cover on a long term basis, for as long as required until their own member of staff returned.”

“A practice manager required a permanent dental nurse immediately, as their own nurse suddenly left causing major disruption to their practice. We sourced them a dental nurse, arranged an interview and had a start date negotiated within a matter of days. To ease the disruption to the practice we sent the client a locum nurse whilst we sourced a permanent member of staff.”

“A practice was upgrading their computer systems to newer more advanced software. Our locum nurse was able to use the software without guidance and also trained the other members of staff.”

Catering

Chef
“From Commis chefs to Catering Managers we supply qualified, experienced chefs to venues around the country… A client of Prochoice Recruitment tested our “out of hour’s service” by calling at 6am to request chef cover as their chef had called in sick… I immediately called 3 potential candidates (who I knew were available) and had a replacement at the venue for the 7.30am start time.”

Waiting staff
“Prochoice supplies many hospitality and event venues with front of house staff. A common practice is to keep our staff working together. Our experienced, nominated drivers, supervise teams of five making sure they arrive punctually, are turned out correctly and can liaise with the floor management to make sure the event goes smoothly…”

General assistants
“We provide Kitchen Assistants, Kitchen Porters, Catering Assistants, Food Services Assistants, Till trained staff and cleaners. Every kitchen has requirements for staff who are not afraid to get stuck in. As a long standing client of mine once said “if the manager calls in sick, no-one bats an eye, but if the pot washer fails to show… It’s the end of the world!!!

A lot of our day to day service is made up of sending General Assistants to venues far and wide… Recently x 3 clients called in the space of 20 minutes to tell me their kitchen assistants hadn’t shown and could I get cover?… As we target specific areas when recruiting I was able to contact candidates who are local to the client and get them there straight away.”
